Pat Werner

Pat Werner is a well-known instructor, dog trainer and canine behavioral consultant who has taught professionally in the Rochester and surrounding areas for the past 19 years.

In 1989, she titled her first Shepherd, Mecky, to a Schutzhund III title and has titled many of her dogs since. The most recent was Dana, who in November 2005, was awarded her "BH" title - which entitles Dana to continue on in the sport.

Pat is the owner of Family Dog Obedience with Pat Werner and VonSassenhaus German Shepherds.

Amanda Pontarella

Amanda has committed herself to helping families understand their dog's behavior through her years of teaching obedience classes and private behavioral sessions. Her "demo dog," Sabre, is a wonderful example of a well-trained and happy product of her training philosophy.

For the past two years, Amanda has appeared with Pat on RNews television as the featured dog training specialists.

Amanda is preparing her young German Shepherd, Wolf, for Schutzhund competition. This past November, she guided Wolf to his "BH" title - a requirement needed for further competition in the sport.
